Yeah I wish I could blame it on recaps...I guess I got swindled at the Las Vegas tire store I bought that thing from.

Yeah it is a crack and it runs most of the way around the tire. I thought someone was sabotaging me for a sec with a razor blade and then I thought it was rubbing somewhere and getting cut but it is not straight so it is a crack. I wonder if that tire was sitting on the rack in Vegas in the heat for a couple of years but Metzler US will be hearing from me about that issue.

I love how it says "MADE IN GERMANY" right under the worst part of the crack. Germany, trying to kill Americans since 1914.......

I actually really like the Metzler I run on the rear and was hoping for a chance to change my front Dunlop to a Metzler. Maybe I will wait.....
