So after a movie tonight we decide to head over to a buddies sno-shack. We get there at 9:15 and the kids are closing. Odd, they're supposed to close at 10. The girl working claims they are out of ice (btw, this shack is located in the parking lot of a grocery store). No ice? No biggie, we offer to go get some; to which the girl doesn't reply... She just closes the little window and continues to clean up.. WTF... I call my buddy(owner) and explain the situation. He's not happy so he tells me to have her call him. She has no phone.. I hit redial and hand her my phone. He tells her to go buy ice at the store.. She goes. Comes back empty handed, says their blocks of ice are too big. She says we could grab a block at the 711 just down the block since they're the right size anyways.. I say sure no prob since it's my buddies place and I know he'd appreciate it. So I go get 2 bags. Of course the ice freezer was broken and not freezing the ice at a nice 59 degrees.. Oh well. I take her the two bags. She goes into the shack to prepare our snowies.. Or, so we thought. The lights turn off, she locks up, and walks away.. Oh, she did say 'thank you' as she left. To which I replied, 'i guess'.. None of us really knew what to say..
