All of their ads say may be in need of repair. They didn't used to but they always show the best picture and it seemed sneaky. Maybe they're trying to look more legit by saying that. Ha.

I have seen a bunch of their adds. They seem way overpriced to me. Even if you do all the work yourself it would almost always be cheaper to just buy a nice clean model X.

he went to Manheim auction on a friday, bought that as a total-loss from an insurance company, and is hoping to sell it for a profit to someone who doesn't have their own dealer license to go to the auction and get a totaled chevy themselves

his thought is probably "some guy will pay near 10-grand for the engine alone....."

maybe he expects to get texts at 1 AM from random people offering half their asking price. That seems to be the KSL way these days.

i got a text on a new-in-box item i had on ksl, at 1/4 the price of new ($50)

he text me and asked "if he paid full asking price" would i drive 2hrs to spanish fork to deliver it.

as if him paying my asking price was somehow going above and beyond the call of duty

i used to think that all these people are crazy asking outrageous prices for things on ksl, but it all dawned on me that no matter what you ask, the 'tards that use ksl think you are high-balling them so they only will pay much less than asking price. regardless of value. it is like a snake eating its tail. first people ruined it by asking too much, now people are conditioned to believe that the asking price is too much

now, the more fair you make your asking price, the lower someone will actually offer/pay for it

I'll believe it when I see it. ;)

My favorite is when they say "I'm not low-balling, I just don't have the full asking price." As if their desperate situation means it's not a low-ball offer anymore.
