Just finished "I,Sniper". One terrific novel by Stephen Hunter that was riveting. I could not put it down. This is the 6th book in the ongoing series about Bob Lee Swagger former Vietnam era sniper. Swagger and the other extreme characters in these books make James Bond and his adventures look wimpy. Hunter can sure write exciting books. Check out the Swagger series. Also several exciting books about Earl Swagger, Bob Lee's father.

He must be the guy that wrote "Shooter". I love that one. Actually, I just love anything about snipers. I'll have to check this book out.

Right. Shooter was the first one. Another gripping and interesting book that Hollywood watered down - I'll never understand. Why would you make a movie version LESS interesting, exciting, and thought out than the book?

I think Hunter has kind of milked the Swagger stories a little too long. Theres only so much that can really happen to one person.... He is a fantastic writer for thrllers though, especially if you're a gun lover. I might end up reading this one.
