Im pretty excited about this. Still nervous and wondering if Im doing the right thing tho. To late now I guess.

At full stuff the chunk is still 4 inches away from the oil pan. There is no possible way the axle will ever hit my oil pan again! The upper link mounts will hit the frame before the axle gets to the motor. Between that and my bump stops its golden!

I think it will flex as good as it did before. Im getting a set of Fox coilovers on trade for the front.

It will be rear steer as well. I think Im going to have to leave the leafs in back for awhile tho. Im running out of money fast. Hydro steering is spendy!

I have no work right now so Im trying to get a good chunk of work done. I have a couple interviews set up so hopefully I will have a job soon. Basically Im hoping to get all of this done with just the money I sold the one tons for. Its going to be close but I think i can do it.

Thanks guys!

Thats still the old motor. You can see the hacked together oil pan still! As soon as the Scout is rolling again I will start the motor swap

It is my garage. Getting it in was easy. It was still on one tons and I had some small tires to throw on it. Getting it back out is going to be interesting. Im considering building some stout wheel rollers, drop the axle down on to them then put tires on it outside. Only other option is to tear the suspension out, drag it out of the garage, then assemble again in the driveway.

I really need a shop

If you need some roller tires once you get it outside I have some you can borrow.

They are rockwell pattern NDT's at about 40 tall. (stock 2 1/2 ton tires)

I will take you up on that for sure. In fact I would like to get them from you soon. That way I can let it sit on tires in the garage instead of jackstands. My garage's ceiling is plenty high. About 10 feet. They put a 7' door on tho. Your just in Ogden right? Plus I would like to see your truck. Thanks!

What rims? lol.

Wait, what happened to the drums? Can't you roll it out on them?

Looking at mine you might need to put some 2x4's down under the drums so the drain plug clears the ground, but it should roll out on them.
