There were actually no instructions at all with the guide plates. Just came in a little plastic package.
With the Rockers however they mentioned a million times they recomend new pushrods. Didnt say hardened tho...just new.
I think they just assume someone spending that kind of cash on parts is going to get everything new at the same time which I should have done.
I am taking full responsibility for this one. Im just glad that only one broke. I think I very easily could have grenaded the whole motor with this oversite.
As for narrowing and dropping the Scout??? Probably not going to happen. I did narrow the rear a bit and it keeps it off most the rocks. Ive thought about narrowing the front but I dont think I could bring myself to do it. The Scouts arent super wide anyway
You havent seen it with the Rockwells have you Tacoma? It is VERY tall now. However wheeling with Byron, Aaron and Jared and Stan.....I still feel like the small rig. Thats messed up! Unfortunatly with the Rockwells and how much suspension travel I have....it really cant go any lower than it sits. I just want to build some torsion sway bars for it and I will have few problems. That and I cant run the front tires at 5 psi. They just fold over and that makes it tipsy. When I bumped the fronts up to 10 it felt a lot more stable
