Thats awesome! I appreciate it!

The wheels are still on the truck. Do you have room for a crewcab, longbed powerstroke with a 6" lift and 37s?

By the way....they are 37s

Here is Mitch cutting one of the beads out of my old Toyo MT to use as a spacer for the beadlocks.

Nothing like taking a sawzall to a 600 dollar tire

Got the wheels mounted and the motor in it. Heads are getting delivered to me tomorrow. (thanks Chad!) So it will be back together pretty quick.

Heads were in worse shape than I thought. He had to replace a bunch of valves, all new guides, resurface, grind. Anyways....they were in bad shape. No wonder I had so many motor problems. Im just glad they didnt surface at TTC.

I absolutely love the 46s on it. It looks fetchin mean. The stance is perfect and its not as tall as I thought it was going to be. Top of the hood is gonna be about 5'11" I thought it would be well over 6'. I am 6'2" so there is a height reference and a cheesy smile for ya :greg:

Not going to have to cut much to clear them. They dont hit the leafs in the back. I think Im just going to have to shorten my front bumper is all.

Its going to be cutting it close to be done for EJS. I have another house ready for me so Im going to be booked for the next 2 weeks again. With the help of my awesome brother it just might get done. Finding a trailer to get it there is a whole other problem tho

Thanks again for the offer! I ran out of time before work so I just had Schwab do it. They hooked me up tho.

My center caps had to be beaten out. Stupid Utah and their stupid salt

Finish carpenter. We have also been painting while work has been slow. We also build decks, install hardware and stuff like that.

That sounds fun! I was doing that for a few years with a guy here until it got slow enough I had to find something else. It was lots of fun.

Your Scout is lookin Awesome! It would be fun to see this thing in person!

Very cool!

I am fully jealous of your wheels. I love them!

I do love them as well but I think they are impossible to get to seal 100%

They all seem to have super slow leaks and I did all I can think of to get them sealed good.

I think they will hold air long enough to run a trail but I bet I have to air up each morning. Wish I still had the Powerplant winch now :-\

Im just planning on getting a good electric compresor. Someday when Im rich I will install a OBA system. Maybe I will win the RME giveaway

Super tanks and CO2 are totally awsome. CO2 has enough pressure to set beads with little effort. I can run air tools on the trail, and fill up all six tires twice from 5lbs to 25lbs, and fill up 5 other trucks tires as well on one tank. I carry two tanks, a 20 pounder and a 15 with a 55 pounder back at the trailer to fill the small ones up. PSI can range from5lbs to 180+ for setting beads. An onboard compressor can't do that.

Plus if you have a fire and your fire extigquisher runs our, you just get your jet nozzle on your power tank hose, tip the tank upside down(to get at the liquid co2) and you have a huge, very effective fire extinguser. Put out engine fires, gas fires, camp fires( not recommended because if you have the pressure up to high you end up blowing embers all over the place), and electrical fires. Onboard commpressers can't do that.

And finally, you can use the power tanks to re-fill your Paintball guns so you can continue shooting at your friends. :)

The Co2 tanks are a good idea. Did you piece yours together, or did you buy it all ready as a kit?

Both. Super tanks has some good stuff, but I used to own a paintball business so I could get any type of CO2 stuff cheap. YOu can get all the tanks and such from a welding supply store cheap, but it is easyest to get the regulators from Super Tank. Super tank also sells cool tank racks that hook up to your roll bar. That again you could fab your self. A CO2 system is alot cheaper than a compressor set up, and still does all the above functions.

Well I cant afford a CO2 tank or onboard air right now.

Good thing Im wheeling with you Stan!! Just kidding

Im planning on a 12v portable compressor for now.

Work completed yesterday.....

Managed to bust a stud off in one of the heads. Byron got it out for me today tho. Thanks Byron!! Now I just need another stud.

Rear driveshaft is made! Again thanks Byron! He hooked me up with a Rockwell flange and I bought a 1410 yoke for it. Cut and welded it to length myself. Hopefully it wont shake me out of my seat.

I utilized my finish carpenter skills and made a couple shelves for my batteries to sit on. The bottom battery is really hard to get in and out with the shock hoop there but it works. Lots cleaner and stronger than my old mounts we fabbed in Hollister Hills campground.

Just got home from work so out to the garage I go!
