I want to ditch Comcast

I'm sick of Comcast. I've used them for a decade now, but I'm just so tired of the constant rate hikes and inept customer service when I try to get them to explain why I am suddenly paying $20 more for a service that they advertise. This happens every few years. Usually, after navigating the lower echelons of phone monkeys, they just realize that I'm on an old plan and will move me over, but this last time was so infuriating that I think its time to get on some sort of setup that is a constant price.
Currently I have a 22Mb/s download plan, which is nice, but I don't need it to be that fast. I could live with say, 15 Mb/s. I'd like to keep the bill around $50/month. Utopia would be awesome, but not available in my area.

Is your iPhone unlocked? I'm have tempted to tell comcast to go fly a kite and just use my 3g. I've been amazed at how fast it is considering what it is. Last night my wife was tethered to my phone streaming lost off hulu while I was surfing rme all at the same time. I have been blown away at the speed.

I just cancelled quest and went to comcast, but they had pretty good customer service. I have 12mb/s and I can't tell the difference from the 20 I had with quest and it's half the price. I was paying $79.99 with quest. Now I have internet and basic cable for $55.00 They worst part about quest was we moved and put our account on hold for a couple months and when we came back they just decided themselves that I needed a faster connection and started billing me for that. But like I said the customer service with quest was nice. I went with Comcast for lack of a contract and I hated Direct TV.

You can look in to Digis we had it in one of our condo's once and it was a decent provider and we never had problems. We didnt have to pay it was included in our HOA but i never had a complaint about the speed or anything

My iPone is unlocked, but it is only an Edge capable phone.

Nope no bundle and it's a set price. But without the TV it's only $35. Like I said I only have 12mb/s but it works for me. Tell them you wanna cancel and I'll bet they'll work with ya. I just have my wife call and she gets it handled every time.
