Actually, I finally have the new cab ready to swap. I cut the back of the cab and the front of the bed out, in order to get the back seat in.

Muleskinner came by on his lunch to help lift the old cab off, and the new one on. Thanks Scott! I owe you a beer!

Wasn't too bad.... I decided to try to do it without removing the front clip. It was kindof a PITA to get the sh!t off the firewall with the engine in the way, but better than pulling the engine. :)

I just ordered my PRP seats, two Premier Highbacks, and a 50" wide bench with 3 harnesses for the kids. They should be here by next Friday. My goal is to have the truck back together by then, so when they arrive I can start caging it out. :D

Damn Cory, looks good! How are you going to run the Tube? I can't wait to see the finished product.

Hadn't really thought about that yet..... :D

I've got some ideas how it's gonna work, but they're kinda hard to explain. My main problem is making the gap between the cab and bed as stiff as possible, so I won't have the typical flex between the two.

how long will it take to destroy this cab. i give it a month

I've already OKed it with Tara, if this one goes south as quickly as the last, it's buggy time! :D

Besides, unless it falls off the stands in the garage, it won't even be on the trail for a month. :D

so are you going to make the area for the kids weather tight?

looks cool.

Yup, after much searching, I found a boot that will seal the gap beween the bed and lower part of the cab. Then I'll have a custom soft top (i.e. Canback) that will protect the top area.

Check out PRPseats.com, they can make you a bench any width you want, from 36 to 70 inches wide. It was $315, but we decided today that we wanted the kids to have headrests, so it will be about $150 more. That doesn't include harnesses, so I still need to find them.
