——June 22nd-30th are my proposed dates. Obviously that doesn’t work for everyone, but I’m not gonna attempt to fit this to everyone’s schedule. ——
Mrs. Hickey said to plan it, so here we are.
So far we’ve got these attendees:
Mr. and Mrs. Hickey -2022 Gladiator Mojave
Marc Bryson -2022 Gladiator Rubicon
Shane Herzog - Bitchin SAS’ed Tacoma
J-mobzz-TJ
Kurt - some random LandCruiser porn
Kevin B - The Grey Bastard 2.0
TRD270 Stellantis Motorhome
Stephen - 2012 Eurotrash Patrol
Glockman- Two Willer
Dutchman- 88 runner
Hopefully maybe attendees:
Cody- F-150 with a keg in the back.
Paul Anderson - Jeep Wrangler
Jeeper/That Brian guy - some non Jeep
ChestonScout - ?
I Lean - SAS’d Land Cruiser
Dutchman- ?
Bryson - 1993 NinjaSport 5000
Post up if you’re interested in going. We don’t want more than 5 or 6 rigs total at one time, just because it’s hard to get campsites that large. The good news is, there are many different points along the route where we one can jump in with us if another party is jumping out.
This is not a particularly difficult trail route in terms of needing a built rig. A stock Wrangler or Tacoma should do just fine, but recovery gear is a must, including trail clearing gear (chainsaw). A completely reliable rig is a must. Vehicle size may be an issue, but that will just depend on your ability to accept pinstriping. I think an F-150 with some good tires would fit, especially one like @Cody has (hint).
We’ll be knocking out a ton of miles on dirt and pavement, maybe as much as 1,500 miles.
Dates are up in the air right now, but you’re facing too much snow in July and too many wildfires and smoke after that. Late September may be good after the fires are out.
