Ideas for shifter boots/trim pieces

After modding my rig for duals, I now have 3 holes in the tranny tunnel. It's amazing how much heat blows up through there when there aren't any boots on the shifters.

Let's see some pictures of your shifter covers, I need some ideas of what to do.

I used a Hurst boot that is available at any part store along with others in the performance isle. To make it nicer you can get a boot and cover that is the same color as your front shifter from a junk yard or dealer. If you get one for a bench seat you would only need to modify the front part where it connects to the tranny shifter. I can post a pic of mine and there use to be some pretty fancy ones on TTORA.

I tried a search for shifter boot but most were for 2wd or manual to auto conversions. Back when I frequented the site I remember pictures of people's dual T-cases and boots to make it clean. Maybe dual case shifter boot in the search.

I still have foam on the under the bezel to keep the outside out and the inside in.

There are Jeep shift boots that are very universal, and would be pretty easy to adapt if you're not to elitist to have Jeep parts on a Toyota. There are usually several different flavors in stock at teraflex. They are nice and cheap too.

No offense taken, I totally agree that if it works, I don't care what it came from. I am a bit too elitist for my own good though.

Advance Adapters sells boots without the attached AtlasII. I used one on my old doubler setup after an exhaust leak lead to a scary Carbon Monoxide poisoning experience (yes I fixed the leak too).
