Idiots at diesel pumps...

Drive me crazy!! I HATE pulling up to the gas station and there aren't any diesel pumps available because some complete ass clown in a gasoline vehicle felt the need to use THAT particular pump for their gas filling pleasure. I normally fuel up at City Market (love the .10 off per gallon with the value card ) and there are only 4 diesel pumps. Now, there are 10 gas pumps so one would think that your non-diesel driving individual would first gravitate towards the gas only pumps. Well, I'm here to tell you that you'd be wrong! I understand if there is an epic line out of all the pumps, but on more than one occasion, I've seen people using the sections with diesel even though most of the other pumps are open.

I hate stupid people and there is my rant for this lovely Sunday evening.

FWIW, most people don't even notice the diesel pumps...they just see a green handle, and don't realize all the pumps don't have those "green handles" too. Also, the diesel pumps are usually the first pumps at a station, easiest access.

If there was equal access to fuel, I'd wait. When there's only 2 diesel pumps and 20 gasoline pumps, it's kinda annoying.

Humph. Easiest access doesn't make me feel any better when I'm blocking traffic with a trailer because I can't get to a diesel pump. Although, the waiting in line always makes me think of great fantasies involving me in a backhoe physically removing the inconsiderate person in front of me.

Yeah, I hear ya. It IS annoying. What's worse though, is people who get gas at a busy station, and then spend 15 minutes in the convenience store, staring at the chips or something.

I could have murdered everyone at the Maverick in Evanston... a$$hattery galore! boats, gangster b*tches in lifted Tahoes, bewildered grandparents in 1977 Buicks, etc. It was like no one could remember what to do at a gas station. Everything but pump gas, I guess.

I usually just pull obnoxiously close behind them and let my diesel rattle their ear drums while they fill up.

Hmm... I go to whatever pump happens to be open, closest and be on the correct side for my gas cap. And you know what, I'm a paying customer so who cares if its a gas only or gas/diesel pump. There is a reason why its a due-fuel pump, after all.
But you know, I'm a live and let live kinda guy. I don't let pesky little things like waiting in line at a gas station ruin my day.

What pisses me off even more than this though is when I have to buy 2 gal of the last person's 85 octane at the 91 octane price before 91 octane starts coming out of the ****ing single hose pump.

the station I go to has only 2 diesel pumps (so 4 stations) and I almost always go the one of them cause there closest to the exit. but the station I go to almost never has more then 2 or 3 vehicles filling up

At the Bountiful Smith's I pulled up and was waiting patiently (believe it or not) for this clueless woman to fill her gasser at the "dual fuel" pump while there were 5-6 gas only pumps open. While her car was filling she came over and screamed at me "why do you have to get on my a$$ when there are all these other pumps open" I calmly said "It's a diesel and your blocking my pump" She said "Oh sorry" and walked away. When she was done she gave an embarrassed/apologetic wave.

I got my laugh for the day
