How did the FJ not make it up that? That a-trac system should be in use there... Not to mention, is he locked in the rear?

Either way...

I can't tell in the pic if his FJ is equipped with a winch.. Is it? Make him bust out his own winch next time..

Maybe he put the sticker on because he likes the feeling of the Jeep's cable wrapped around him?

Ya I dont get how an FJ isnt making it up that.....
Love the FJ's but it seems like there starting to be a wannabe vehicle. Like people want to get into offroading, so they go buy and FJ(which is an increadibly capible vehicle, specially for a IFS) And drop like and extra 7k into it, then sticker the poo out of it. Before going on there first trail. Then get stuck.
I was told the fj is the only stock vehicle to go through the entire rubicon trail without having any breakdowns for replacing equipment. So if thats true it poves even more to the theroy of a good rig isnt nesicerily highly modified, but drivin by a good driver.

Last week in Ouray the national LOST Safari (Liberty Owners Special Team) was held at the same time the national FJ meet (not sure what they called it). There were about 200 FJs in town and I believe most of them were noobs. I've only been wheeling since 2007 and I think that I know a lot about it (or at least how to get my KJ through most of what I try) but some of these guys had some real 'tudes. I try to be cool with everyone.

Pretty much every trail was clogged with FJs being spotted over every damn rock out there. I mean, it's not like this area is known for super-hard trails. It took us hours to get through Black Bear Pass because the FJ group stopped at every turn in the switch backs so the trail leader could spot each vehicle through the turn. Outside of our group there where tons of motorcycle guys walking their bikes down the trail since there was no point in them burning gas to sit there.

I took a small group to MOAB after the Safari and we ran into guys in FJs riding out there all by themselves. One was going up Elephant Hill as we were leaving. There were no other rigs on the trail that day.

I hate two types of people:

Those who would judge another by what kind of rig they have
Anyone who drives a Nissan
