The rubicon trail is closed. The Rubicon is now in the path of the King fire. The sad part is the fire was intentionally set, the good part is they found the guy and he is being held on $10 million bail. 70,000 acres so far and only 5% contained. Unfortunately the 'Con' isnt going to look the same again in our lifetimes

No, we ended up changing our trip. I have a bunch of friend in Reno that told me about it. They are in now evacuating everyone off of the trail. Just glad I've run it numerous times in the past. It won't be the same after this.
Cant wait to see what the guys reasoning was for starting it. It isnt uncommon to have tree huggers start small fires up there to close the trails.
