sweet. 100cc sami motor, to 22re, to v6. You are moving up the evolutionary latter here.

Needs mudflaps.

Hey, I'm not knockin the reliability of those little sami motors. My parents treadmill has one in it and it has been going strong for years.

Sweet, it looks even better than in the Ad. Dont forget the not-so-fun mods like a tranny cooler.

Lets see that interior!

Is that the model you used? Any good threads out there on tranny cooler installs comparing different models (no I don't want to search the millions of threads on TTORA or Yotatech :D). I've only had my trans temp light come on once, I was towing my trailer up and down some steep stuff in the Henry Mtns in hi-range. I put it in low and it cooled right down. Regardless, I want to install a trans cooler ASAP. I'd love to get the cliff-notes info :D

Sorry for the hijack Jason, your parts are enroute, well the rear coils that is, everything else is here :D

The exact cooler I have (I went in the garage to find the box) LONG Tru-Cool LPD 4454

Dimensions:
36 plates
7 1/4" x 11 x 3/4

It's rated for 18,000GVW, I believe the idiot light comes on at either 250*or 280*...way to hot for extended use.

With the cooler in place, towing with A/C on in 90* heat I've never had it over 280. It cools down very quick and has the "self-regulating" feature to help heat the fluid on start up and during cold weather.

I'm plumbed in series after the radiator, I feel this helps heat the fluid in the winter and still keep it plenty cool.

The TRD unit is nice but it's simply a rebadged Hayden cooler.

I don't have an archive of the threads but there are a ton of VS. topics. The bottom line? Stacked plate is far more efficient than the old tube and fin style. This cooler fits nicely, very durable ( I dropped a wrench on my original and patched it with JB Weld-no leaks) and available locally.

You wont be disappointed with this cooler, I have a larger one; 4490 but see no need to use it--Another project.

Nice lookin' rig Jason. I must say I have been thrilled with my 3.4L, and mines an auto even. If I hadn't picked up my truck I was going to get a runner similar to yours
