Read the comments after that article, crazies out there.
You know what they say about those with the loudest mouths...
man, some of those comments just piss me the he#! off! I would speculate that most of the people making them have never been on a trail in utah, hiking, biking, or horseback riding. I've ridden my dirtbike all over, and always stick to the trails, and although there are some irresponsible riders, 95% of the ones that I come across are responsible and know the "boundaries." I just went up AF canyon on Saturday, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and day on my bike, and everybody that we passed, whether on foot or horse was more than kind, and understanding of our equal right to be out there and enjoy it. (and we always pull off and shut off our bikes for the horses to pass)

I was there until 4:30 to take the stage down and most people started leaving about halfway through the raffle.
When the governor was speaking there were still the thousands I'd say.
I had some one from City Weekly ask me why the enthusiasm was down from last year.
So I guess they are trying to say a couple thousand more people this year means less enthusiasm, he looked dizzy from the spinning.

I stayed until the end of the raffle. People started leaving during and handing me their tickets. I had mad tics but still won nothing.

The video they showed on KSL looked like about 500-600 people at the actual rally part of the event. It was framed from behind and above the stage, so it's not clear if that was the beginning, end or height of the event.
How do 5000 people come to a parade and only 500 stay for the rally?

I have to confess that last year I drove up, bought some t-shirts and went home. This year I felt that was not the right thing to do so I stayed 'till close. I was bummed there were no t-shirts for sale though.
The chick from the Trib came up to me during the raffle. My boss who does not share my views and was annoyed that a rally was in his neighborhood told me to suggest that we protest in front of the Fed building if we have a problem with the Fed.

wow nice comments.... remind me of the day i was riding on my uncles private land that he owned and we had a tree hugger come tell us to not tear up the land with our quads... but then again my uncle owned the land.. why is it they can tell us what to do on our own land? besides the area we was tearing up was the new location of his cabin so it was going to get tore up anyways...
