My father is giving me an old alto sax that has been in the family for awhile that I want to try and relearn to play but it needs a few things. Do any of you know a good company that may be able to help me with new pads and redipping it?

When I had to have work done on my alto I always took it to Summerhays Music. It's been a long time since I've played or had any work done though...

Summerhays will do a good job, but will charge you an arm and a leg.

We have had good luck with Dave Hall 801-484-4149. He will evaluate and work within your budget to come up with good results. He is in Sugarhouse, so may be a bit far for you.

If you want to try tackling some of it yourself (not for the faint of heart), go to MusicMedic.com.
