IROK Stickies

Okay dudes... Here comes another tire thread.

I have seen thread after thread about sticky vs non-sticky, PBR's vs IROK, Creepy vs Krawler blah blah blah. I apologize if this is something that has already been covered and if it has please paste a link in this thread and I will be more than happy visit it. BUT (there is always a but), I have spent the last 4 hours not working and searching the web for a real life review on the 42 Sticky Irok. I am currently running a set of 39 Red Krawlers but feel like I need to jump to a 42. I have a lead on a set of 42 Sticky Iroks and would love to know how they perform here in Utah and not what the guys on Pirate in Tenessee think about them.

If you have experience with them and another sticky (Creepy, Trep, Krawler) please let me know your opinion. I have now ran all three of the most popular stickies (Creepy, Trep and Krawler) and want to know how these will compare. I am about to spend a good chunk of change and dont want to regret my decision.

I wheel Moab, Snakes, Delta, in whatever conditions we have here (snow, wet, dry).

In summary, will I kick myself for going from a 39 Krawler to a 42 Sticky IROK?

My brother runs the 42" Iroks that are not of the sticky flavor. They seem to work really well. I'm sure there are better tires out there but for the coin I think they are great.

I run the Treps and love them ....but I have seen the Irok stickies and they hook up as good or better. The only problem I seen is that they were small for the size. They were 37 but did not measure anything close to that.

I have a buddy who runs them and he swears by them. He has worn a set out and the biggest difference I have noticed is the sidewalls don't seem to seperate like the reds do. And they do measure small. At the time I had a set of bias 39" iroks and they were about the same size. He was only running about 6-7 psi and I was at 9 psi.

I ran a set of 42 non-sticky IROCS and they were just under 41" new, so not bad on the size. I have found most tires are under what they say they are. The reg IROCS are good and I would bet you won't regret the sticky's.

the ones on panos old buggy?

i could be wrong but i think they were an even stickier compound then the regular sticky iroks

that being said.. i loved my 37 inch radial iroks( non sticky)

they didnt crawl though and had to be aired down alot.. most the people i've seen that dont like iroks don't air down enough and/or don't use enough momentum for the big climbs

i would love a set of sticky iroks!

x2 on the SX's for large robust stickies!!!

Also, Goodyear makes a 42" sticky and I've heard it hooks up like crazy... although a bit more money and harder to get!!!
