is AF canyon open?

I have tomorrow off and I wanted to see if I can make it to the rock garden. has anyone tried to make it up there in the past weeks or do you know if it's open to go in now.

just a day or two ago there was another thread on this, no its not open yet.

I was up there a couple weeks ago and the Rock Garden is still covered by four feet of snow at least. It's going to be sometime before it all melts.

yeah, its always Memorial or later...as far back as I can remember its never been opened before Memorial.

American Fork canyon usually open every year on mamorial week end I not planning on it opening this year at this time I think thought when if does open we should get people together and have a big 4x4 bbq up there some where

Back in the day before myself and my friends were married (and could escape the clutches of our girlfriends) we had 'MAN'morial Day weekend, where we'd ditch the lady folk and go wheeling for a few days.

yeah, its always Memorial or later...as far back as I can remember its never been opened before Memorial.

Dont remember what Memorial Day was last year but I did the Garden last year on the 22nd, I remember cause it was my B Day 4 wheelin trip.

The garden and trail was awesome, like a waterfall of water running down the trail as you go up it, we made it up about 3/4 of the trail before snow stopped us.
