is it legal to burn leafs in west valley? I'm guessing no but i just thought i would check. i have a huge pile of leafs and not a single tree in my yard funny how that works.

Call the fire department and ask them...they usually have a non emergency number in the phone book.

In a word, NO......

It's not the city, it's Salt Lake County. You can get a burn permit, if you want to try but good luck.

That being said, if your neighbors aren't the whiney type I burn things all the time in a can in the back yard.

fire up the patio fireplace. they shouldnt say anything about that.

I use a smoker all the time and never have a problem good luck
but you will want to check on the legality of an open fire
