Is it possible to get to Pittsburg Lake from the end of Mineral Basin?

I'm running mineral basin tonight, and I'd love to hike from the top of Mineral Basin to Pittsburg Lake. Are there any trails/roads that connect the two?

The traditional route shows Pittsburg Lake starting near the bottom of Mineral Basin rd.

Not that I'm aware of. But I could be wrong.

yes and no, there is a faint trail(more of a game trail) it's steeper than the rd but much shorter. but it's not from the end of mineral basin its more from the mine. from the end of mineral basin you have to backtrack quite a bit and climb a couple cliffs.
