So, last weekend I spent down in the san rafael and I did a good amount of drinking. Probably 60 beers and a good amount of Jager over the course of 3 days. I honestly didn't drink that much water--and I never really got that drunk. Not enough to get a hangover or anything.

On the last day I noticed my ankles kind of swelling, and now my right ankle and foot are dark purple--like a really bad bruise--only it doesn't hurt unless I push really hard on it and I don't remember hitting it on anything (nor was I ever drunk enough to hit it and not remember). I should post a picture of it, it's pretty sweet actually.

Can this be caused by excessive drinking? Am I going to live? Are my liver and kidney's shutting down?

thoughts?

I think that you should drink more to see if it spreads any further. Consider it a science experiment. Document it though, so that there is proof and they can name a disease after you.

Last time I saw something like that it was on a old fat lady.
I've never heard of that due to drinking. I would get it checked out if I were you.

I'd say you're probably pregnant.

Does it hurt anywhere else?

my stomach appears to be growing too.....

I read soemwhere that your legs and ankles bruise easily after heavy drinking, I wonder if this is what has happened. I don't want to go to the Dr...

They do, because alcohol let's the capillaries relax and gravity does the rest.

--> I had a similar problem a couple years ago, but it was a knee. Lemon and Parsley tea (I don't want to sound like one of those herbal nutjobs,--I'm not-- the vitamin C and Citric acid will substitute the uric acid and the parsley helps the kidneys process and dispose of it) had me fixed up in a couple days, although you will pee every 10 minutes. If it isn't better in a couple days go to the doctor, they'll give you an anti-inflamatory.

Take two bottles of Jager and don't call in the morning... Don't know if it will cure anything, but you won't care...

I'm thinking that since alcohol is an anti-coagulant and thins the blood, the best and only answer may be to drink more.

my boss says I'm becoming diabetic.:ugh:
