Is this a coyote?

I rode up Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons after work today and saw this guy just hanging out in the road. I say it's a coyote. What do you think?

Definitely, very nice bike.

One of the guys at work told me there was a coyote hanging around in the parking lot at one of the ski resorts, begging scraps off people. Forget which resort though.

Thanks guys. I wanted to ride to Alaska this month but money's tight so I'll just go to the canyons a lot

I saw the coyote at Snowbird so maybe he's the beggar DAA mentioned. I just cruised around the corner and there he was standing in the middle of the road. If I had been going faster I would have run him over.

Oh, and there are a lot of cops in Big Cottonwood Canyon. One of them was sitting just east of Spruces with his radar gun pointed west. Fortunately, I was hoping to see moose (mooses? meece?) so I was just putting along

I work up Little Cottonwood cyn and see those running around all the time.

I am headed up to Snowbird today shooting the Bowcast archery shoot! I'll have to keep my eye out for him! It would be a shame if he stepped in the way of my arrow!

I saw a moose at the top of American Fork Canyon just off of the road last week. It's a fun ride too.
