I Lean said:Check yer frame closely---Toyotas have very stiff frames compared to other trucks, and you're getting enough frame flex to make me wonder if you have issues somewhere. (cracks)
If the framerails are in good shape and the crossmembers securely attached, you're just fine. If you want it stiffer, Braden already posted your answer.
James K said:I would say since the driver rear tire is off the ground in that situation, that it has zero flex in the rear. And thus the frame is trying to compensate in the front for the lack of flex in the rear suspension.

SAMI said:Well, i looked at all the body mounts after i wrenched on that blasted fuel filter... nothing raises a red flag for me... though, i'm not sure EXACTLY what it is i'm looking for. I looked for any cracks in the frame, didn't see much... then again it's 2am, and i want to get to bed... so, the inspection might have been abit quick and careless... So, i'm not sure for now....

RockMonkey said:You've got more than just suspension flexing there. You've got a bit of frame flex too. Pretty normal. Put a nice cage in, and tie it into the frame and body tub and it'll stiffen right up.
And yet it's all floppy...SAMI said:I've got a BudBuilt crossmember, chunky sliders, and a rear cross member... that's abit more stiffening than a stock frame would be...

anyone interested in pics of the incredibly massive crack in my frame?
also, the front mounts that mount the body to the body mounts is 100% broken off, and.... and, the only real force holding my radiator on is the fact that it's resting on the bumper
POS?
we welded it up for a temp. rigging... next week is the soonest we can tackle bracing the sh!t out of the front spring hangers, and bracing up the cracked area...
the intense death sobble is almost completely gone though:-\
