Isuzu engine question

I'm getting mixed info about the 1996 Isuzu 3.2 V6 that is in the Rodeo/Passport. Does anyone here know from actual experience if it is an interference or non-interference engine? My searching online is coming up with mixed answers.

Non-interference. The 3.5L V6 in later Isuzu's is an interference motor.

I bought my Trooper with a blown timing belt for a steal simply because I knew that it was non-interference motor and all I needed to do was replace the belt and I'd have a running rig.
