Here's a pic of when I got it,threw some p78 hawg's on,rewelded a front link bracket that was broke and took it muddin.I soon realized that it was way too loose(top heavy, wanderin, like a bobble head) on the highway and wheelin when loaded.
So yesterday I pulled the F/R,layed some heavy 2" channel over the rearend tube's for bracing and coil pad mount's,built a bridge for more welding surface for the wrap bar, measured and remeasured, got the axle coil mount's tacked on.I built some coil mount's that are outside of the frame rather than under, got the rearend all square and set back where I want it,remeasured everything again then burned everything in.
Tomarrow I need to make the link bracket's and get them burned on,then the rear will be done and then it's to the front.
This morning I carefully removed the link mount's under the frame in the middle...That was a chore using a grinder disk/cuttin disk taking care not hacking the mount's or frame, then called it quit's until after work tomarrow...Hey it's sunday I dont want to overwork myself;)

Working 60's,kid's,a wife that work's and goes to school plus doing chore's/housework around the house I just cant find the time but a few hour's here and there.
I gotta hurry, snow's on the ground and I'm getting the itch to turn two hub's and go beat on it:rofl:

I finally got the zuk done friday night with help of two friend's without them I would not have made today possible. We went out for a cruise for the morning out by the narrow's and it was pretty nasty.I ended up burying the zuk in a mud hole,it swallowed both driver side 35" baja claw's.When I winched out I was pushing ice with both axles that was an easy 2ft thick that I broke through.... I didnt get alot of pic's,this was just a test run to see how it worked with the D44's,35's and bieng geared with 5:13's and gears in the case, even gave the HF 9000 pound winch a try.
I must say that the scout box and pump work's awesome...pinky finger turning and the toy radiator performed well also.I was many time's in the high rev's and the 1.3 never came close to running hot during the day.

Yeah its done.. at least for today. I revved the crap out of my 1.3 for a couple years until the cam bearings deflected. It was running on pretty low compression though since I bought it. Tough little motors

They are the QA-1 coil's and you can get them from jeg's in different hieght's,length's and different wieght rating's from #150 and higher.
The one's that I'm running are #150 all around and 14" long. They are a little soft but since I outboarded them rather than right under the frame where the were the zuk feel's alot more stable now.

Im glad the axles are working for ya!

The Zuk looks great :greg:

Thank's,I set them at 7*.When I finally got it road worthy I went for a ride and the sucker run's smooth,no wobble's,nothin. The gearing is about perfect, low range is just right...
I cant get 5th gear unless I'm going down hill, but what do ya expect for a 60hp engine:rofl: I flexed it up and it get's excellent travel but I need to readjust the front shock mount's and do some minor trimming of the fenderwell's then paint it....Teal green is about the ugliest color ever:sick: .
I'll get better pic's up this weekend....
