Jacob City 4/7

The wife and I went to Jacob City on Saturday. What a place. It is one of the most interesting places I've been in a while. Travelling on a very narrow road up high into the Oquirrh's was pretty fun, just no so fun passing atv's. There are still foundations and Ore bins up there to check out.
I got a few pics of the Jeep before the camera batteries died on me. (note to self: always pack extra batteries.)

From Stockton. You turn East at the gas station and follow that road till it turns to dirt. It's about 6 miles up into the canyon. As the crow flies it is only 2 miles from Ophir, but their is no access through Ophir.

I love the drive up to Ophir, I didn't spend as much time in that area as I wished. Never made it up the way you went, but I always wanted to take that road from Stockton. Thanks for sharing.
