I have always been afraid to work on AC but bought a can of refrigerant with gauge for $40 at AutoZone a week ago. I was able to see that the Freon level was a low causing the Compressor to cycle off & on. Used the can & it brought it up to where it needed to be & we have Cold AC in our Explorer again. I did read online to not get a can with a Leak Sealer if possible since it will gum up the system. Took about 10 minutes to do.

A/C

The only thing I had to courage to do with my ride's A/C is to clean the air filter. I am too afraid to mess things up.

I ended up changing the ac clutch and recharging. It's working now!
