Jeep Cherokee Chief

I am looking at a 1976 Jeep Cherokee Chief S model. Has the wide track D44s on it, 360 4 barrel, auto, air, tilt, power locks and rear window. All the chrome and roof rack. Who knows much about these things on here? Before I make an offer I need to pick someone's brain.

I love them, but haven't had the nerve to buy one, yet. They do rust around the wheel wells and will leak in all the normal 4x4 places. They are big and heavy, but they are soooooo cool. Good luck with your decision.
