Jeep Cherokee Steering Column

I need help with my cherokee steering column. In short words its busted ha ha.is there an easy swap steering column or like an easy diconnect rockcrawling steering column, the ones that are just the steering shaft and steering wheel. i dont need turn signals or wipers or anything just something that is not busted. if anyone know how to do the steering column swap please let me know. thanks.

what makes you say it is broken? is it loose and wobbly, or is it acctually in pieces?

every cherokee i have ever had with tilt column has been loose and just needed to be tightened up.

My Cherokee column is loose. How do you tighten them?

its loose but its the fourth time and im sick of tearing it apart just to tighten the bolts. Do you know how to swap in just the shaft and disconnect steering wheel?

you have to tear the steering column down and there is 2 or 3 bolts that come loose and you have to tighten them. pm me and i will get you the directions on how to do it.

I have a couple of non tilt columns laying around if you want to swap. One has the tranny shifter in the column. Both came out of comanches.

personaly i would rather tighten it up again than replace it. either way you are going to have to tear it apart.
