I remember seeing 5 or 6 photos in a 4x4 mag article (Petersons or JP I think) that were examples of how they took the photos along with the camera settings (f-stop, shutter speed, lens etc) but I can't find the article again. There was one picture of a guy with long hair in a flatfender going up a sand dune and another on the road at night with everything blurred but the Jeep as well as a few others. I think it was within the past year? I know you all have stacks of old 4x4 mags lying around. (So do I but mine are strewn all around the house and garage) I am just hoping someone is a little more organized than me:D Anyone????

Sweet thanks!! I want one of the photos to hang up in the garage. The photo of the guy in the flatfender with long hair driving up a sand dune. (I am trying to live vicariously thru it) Also I would like to take some good pictures of my Jeep before I do something stupid and roll it again. I have it painted with a heavy metalic flake color called Blazing Copper. It looks really cool in the sunlight but when I take a picture it looks kind of red instead of the actual color, also the metal flake doesnt show up. I have tried a polarizing lens which helps but I only have a point and shoot digital, I don't have the time or money to use my 35mm, nor do I have many lenses to choose from. I guess I am hoping someone has a few suggestions so I can start somewhere other than the bottom of the learning curve. Thanks.:)
