High Pinion Dana 30 axle from a JK. Brand new, professionally installed 4.88 gears. Riddler diff cover. TNT Customs truss installed by TNT Customs with bracketry for a TJ/LJ/XJ/ZJ/MJ (A $550 truss). Heavy duty tie rod and drag link set up for inverted T steering. Rubicon Express stainless brake lines. Evo C gussets.

I've got it listed on KSL for $1,100, but I'd sell it to an RME member for $1,000. I could go lower if I keep the diff cover and stainless brake lines.

This would work really well for an XJ, TJ, or ZJ that wanted to get rid of their low pinion Dana 30.

High pinion. Stronger gears than a standard high pinion dana 30. Wider than the XJ/TJ/ZJ dana 30's.

What makes it stronger than a standard hp30 and by how much?

With the gearset, the big advantage is the pinion. It's shorter and fatter. The axle also uses the same unit bearings the Rubicon axles use, something like 30 or 32 spline. The inner shafts are still 27 spline like the older version. The general consensus seems to be that the older dana 30s are good up to 33" tires, while the "next generation" axles are good to 35".
