So I am looking to get a lift for the JK. I pm'd carl and he gave me a good price on a teraflex kit. I was also looking at some other options. I am thinking a 3-4 inch kit. I would prefer new springs rather than coils spacers. I am trying to stay in the 500 dollar range. I don't need huge flex. I just mostly need a good road ride and some additional clearance. Rockkrawler has one that is 3.5 inch for 550 but has no shocks. rustys has one that is 3.25 and come with shocks. I was also looking at a 4 inch rough country kit that is 500 with shocks and brakeline and steering correction. It is the most complete for the money. Is anyone running this kit? I want to buy one in the next couple of days. I have only had one rough country kit a few years ago and it was fine quality wise. thanks. I also welcome any dealer pms for price quotes. I prefer you take paypal.

How large of tires do you want to run? A TeraFlex 4" is good for 37's. The 3" and 2.5" good for 35's. Make sure you take a close look at what the other brand kits includes vs. TeraFlex kits. I would strongly suggest adj. control arms if you plan on a 4" kit. Beware of lower priced kits that use cam bolts/ non adj. control arms with fixed poly ends.

If you get a chance call me at TeraFlex or I can PM my cell to you.

wanting 35s. Tera 3 inch would be great. From what I read the tera kits are taller than they say. So a 4 inch other brand is equal to a 3 inch tera. I have a rear bumper and plan on a front so the 4 becomes a 3 and then 35's would be nice. I thought I didn't need arms and everything with that much lift. the tera kit is WAAAAY (almost double for the same stuff) more money. I did like the tera kit I had on my TJ. It worked great until the lower control arms (2 on front one rear) broke. they said hey that stuff just wears out. just give us 800 bucks for 4 new ones because the others are about to go
too. that sounds like I didn't like the kit, but I did it was nice. I wasn't that pleased with the customer service. If tera really is that much better then it is worth it. they might be on the JK kits. I don't know. I was wanting this kind of input. One vote for teraflex. I was hoping to stay in the 500 dollar range. I will try to make sure on the cam bolts and stuff.
