Joe's Cafe in Orem

Goat insists that I write this review of our lunch today, so here goes:

Utah County sucks. Orem sucks even more. There's nothing good about it - except one thing: Joe's Cafe. The end.





















For anyone who has been there, you'll understand when I say that we missed it driving both ways, but Goat's determination to eat there was greater than Orem's sh!++y roads and lack of intelligent drivers.

We had burgers, but we're excited to go back and try their breakfast.

Only complaint about the food - no fried chicken. That would make it perfect...

Go eat there. The guy that runs it is awesome. He'll take a picture with all of you in it, and hang it on his wall. Go eat there go eat there go eat there.

The sweet potato pie is homemade and fantastic.

Goat just found out that Joe was arrested for sex abuse in October. Goat is now a superfan...

i am from orem, i dont think its that bad... but where is this joes cafe your talking about????
yes orem drivers do suck but i have been too alot of other towns / citys in utah and crivers suck no matter where you go...

either way, it was disappointing to come home and read about his arrest after having such a good experience eating there. We did get our pictures on the wall along with kerry, bill, and gina from x96 though..... two words of redemption

Welcome to my personal hell, Orem that is. Great place to raise kids, but well.... you know. Bummer about Joe, but the breakfast there does rock. Next time you come this way give us a holler.

I hate utah county....too many people....idiot drivers....and the worst road system I have ever seen in all my 31 years on this planet. The problem is that I was complaining about the road systems down there at sunday dinner with my parents some months ago. My mother turned to me and told me that our ancestors settled alpine and other northern utah county towns and were part of the local government there around the turn of the century so I have nothing but my ancestors to blame for the roads. I apologize to all you brave souls who choose to live in Utah county, stay strong...and keep your steering components well maintained.
