I'm so glad I moved.
7-11 on 45th s and 29th e was robbed last night at gunpoint...

In addition to everything that was stolen from me in the area. The UPS store was robbed last year at 9th and 45th stole no cash just mail and Identification paper from boxes.
And the gas/ convenience store on 33rd and 7th.
I had to kick a druggie that was camping out in one of our sheds behind my old work a few blocks from there also. And graffiti is rampant in the area.
I'm sooo sad about it because I love that area of town. It just seems to be going downhill.

Thieves suck.

Millcreek has some rough areas, also has some really nice areas. You can't get away from it no matter where you live though, just happens left often.

^^ i agree, i moved out of magna because the part i was in was rough. and remember that news story not long ago when 3 people captured, and tortured a guy in their basement?
1 street over from me.

i came home one day and there were like 10 blacked out government vehicles infront of my house, even blocking my driveway.
as i got out of my vehicle i could see 10-15 guys in tactical vests arming themselves and gearing up. so i said "what is going on" and their response was "just a routine....."
i liven 1 house away from a corner, they then walked around the corner towards the houses on that street swat-team style

i left for a few hours and came back......

in a completely different incident the guy right next door to me was being evicted and the police got involved, he fired is .45 at the police twice before he was dragged out.

and my ghetto-trash neighbors across the street had this parked in front of their house for months on end:
notice how it is stuffed to the brim with trash, it didn't run either

enough was enough, i moved

Sounds like some crappy areas of Magna, is there a news article about this tortured guy thing? A little while back there was the one about the kid that got into a shoot out with the cops using a .45 around the street from my house.

I live in Sandy, on 1000 E. Had the neighbor on both sides of me robbed. The one in the middle of the day when my brother was leaving for work! Glad to have mr. glock and Mr ar to tuck me in at night now.

I love Lewiston. The day we get a traffic light I'm moving.

It is a very nice area. Personally, I'd keep that to yourself :D Too bad it's too far away for me commute, otherwise I'd seriously consider something like that :D Although, I haven't had any real problems I know of in my area, I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Out there you just have wild fires and mud slides... your golden! lol

when i first moved to slc last year we ended up at 39th and 7 west, wife and i called it immigration station.:D
not dangerous, just shitty. few incidents while we were there but i never felt unsafe.

like apartment where we are now but it seems like has been going downhill last few years from what i hear with new mgmt company.
