. I can only imagine with no weight in the rear it completely unloaded at the wrong time. Cody, what did you do? Looks skeeery for sure.
Ya, it was completely new suspension and tube work. It sat about 3" higher in the rear, with really really stiff coils (seems like 255/150 or something). I came down and the rear came up. I hit the gas but the front bumper had already hit and pivoted the tires off the ground. Went over pretty hard but nobody was seriously injured. I'm thankful I didn't have a stinger or else it would have pitched me into a carwheel down the hill and made things worse.
We swapped to softer springs (150/85 I think) and added a center limit strap and the rig worked much better. I don't think it would have had much trouble going down that with the new spring rates and such.
It's a big drop though. We've had groups of ZJ/WJ's go down it, but last year we opted to bypass because we had too many people in the group that were intimidated by the obstacle because of my experience.
