My kids are organizing a fundraiser- the "Sweetheart Ball" dinner, dance and silent auction on Valentine's Day. It is the third time our family has put this on. This year the money will be used by my 8th grader for a school trip to D.C. and my 10th grader to participate in a Rotary International service trip to Mexico. Previous years have funded the D.C. for my son, my older daughter going on a service trip to Fiji and son to Mexico.
For the silent auction, we have "dates" that people can bid on. Some of the popular ones previous year are activities, such as sailing on the Great Salt Lake, horse back riding, rock climbing, fishing and the like.
This year we would like to offer an off-road adventure date (I would think a half-day outing somewhere local like A.F. Canyon or the Snakes).
Anyone willing to donate some time and be willing to take a couple out for some off-road fun? Schedule would be totally between you and them. We only ask that they be treated well and kept safe!
If you have a business anyway associated with it, the business will be listed on the event blog and facebook pages (otherwise will just be by name.)
PM me if willing or have questions.
