Yeah, it was nasty! Looked like he was having major steering issues before the rollover, I'm surprised he drove so fast considering he was having trouble keeping it on the course! 😲

That course worker almost got taken out, too.... and didn't flinch!

1st with a margin of like 4 seconds! And that's after staying up all night repairing the front axle, which was broken in half yesterday.

Yea I think I even said “he’s gonna roll” out loud when he was up in the rocks. Tough break, but hopefully they can get it back together by Friday.

Edit: sounds like he had a locker up front, but broke it prerunning, so all they had for qualifying was a spool, which most likely caused his steering to misbehave.

I hate to admit it, but the SxS races are pretty dang impressive. They've come a long way from just being 4WD golf carts. Right @BCGPER ?

Everytime I watch this race, it makes me want to build a SXS (thinking it is cheaper lol) and race it. Maybe someday.

Totally agree, a handful of years ago you couldn't keep a SxS together for a mild desert race... now they're bouncing up massive ledges with huge tires and killing it in the desert! Pretty neat to see that kind of progression in the sport.

The video lags a little but not as much as you seem to be experiencing.
