Ken Shupe has run Ball Joints on his comp rig for ever and has never had a problem.Hickey said:Ball joints are for 44's and kingpins are for 60's. Anymore questions?
Good for him. So James, are you gonna run out and buy inner and outer balljoint knuck's for your 60?2BIGTJ said:Ken Shupe has run Ball Joints on his comp rig for ever and has never had a problem.

supergper said:the main advantages are king pins are WAY easier to get high steer and they are way easier to rebuild, you dont even have to pull the knuckles apart to rebuild them...ball joints you have to pull the knuckles apart to replace them and to get high steer you have to weld onto the knuckle...ball joints are much stronger and the only reason mfg. have switched to ball joints is for cost reasons...

Come on over, I got stacks of em!RockMonkey said:Ball joint 60s are garabage. Waste of metal. If you guys have them stacking up in your yard I guess I could stop by and pick them up on my way to the junk yard. No charge.

If you can, find a king pin 60, a bj 60 is still better than a 44, but....
The highsteering thing is also a big issue on the bj 60.
