KM2 The good or the bad?

I have always been a huge fan of BFG tires. Whether Mud, A/T, or trailer, they make a great tire. When they stopped production of the mud terrain, alot of people switched to another company. I figured I would at least give this new one a go. So far, I have about 500 miles on these tires. These tires show no wear at all, they are relatively quiet, and amazing off road. It took a bit to balance the tires but now they ride like a champ. What are ya'lls opinions of them? Any bad reviews? How are they in the snow? I didn't get them until after the snow had stopped. How do they wear? I'll tell you one thing, they are popular in a 33x12.5x15, most are back ordered for at least a month.

Thanks,
J.

Had em on my Rubicon (35's), and I have nothing bad to say about them at all. Every good thing you said, I would highly concur with. In the snow, not all that well, about what you'd expect from any large mud terrain tire though. I'd buy another set without a second thought.

I love my 35's. Almost no sound at all, they look good, haven't taken them anywhere good offroad yet.

The only one complaint is I was surprised at how much it took to balance them.

This is a bummer to hear... I run the AT's on my CJ7 now and they really suk driving to work in the winter. I was planning on buying a set of KM2's this fall.

I have a set of KM2 315's on the Lexus and really like them. I've been impressed with their road driving, as well as rough off-roading. They are a great all around tire, BFG really hit the nail on the head with the KM2's.

I have had them in mud, rocks, snow, etc... they have even handled some high-speed driving over rocky roads mounted on a heavy vehicle that's loaded up with camping gear, so I'm happy.

In snow I have noticed the tendency to slide around, but I've heard that if you sipe them, it will really increase snow traction.

I had them out in deep snow on a trail run last winter, aired down to single digits. I was really impressed, with both diffs locked, my Lexus was one of the more capable vehicles there. The KM2's would dig down to find traction, then start pulling. I did have to be careful about not using too much throttle before getting moving, because they felt like they'd dig themselves into a hole.

Hands down, the AT's do beter on snow packed roads than the KM2's. Then again, I think the AT's do really good on snowy roads so what do I know..

Another vote for how awesome they are. I threw some on the ZJ after it got long arms and I love them. I've had them on for about 8 months now and they're wearing pretty well, they're fantastic offroad, and they ride pretty smooth and quite on the freeway, too.

I love mine  They are the quietest mud terrain I have ran, being that I bought the 10plys they hold a load and handle very well on this heavy truck and so far they have really impressed me with their traction in mud and sand. I have the 255/85's which are pretty narrow so I don't know how a wider 12.50 would do.
