Anyone going to KOH 2011? I will be there co-driving for Dave Smiley during the big race on Friday. My brother and I will be running my Rhino in the UTV race on Thursday. It's going to be a full week!

Hope the wind doesn't come up like it did a couple years ago. It shredded a soft side pop up.

Damm cold at night!! but it can be in the 80s sometimes and snow like last year,
But plan on cold However it is the best event I have ever been to and lots of fun.
If you have not been to JV you need to know there are no services, fuel,Food ect so bring extry stuff you also need a way to get to the trails Jeep,ATV,POS whatever its a long way to the trails.

Noted! thx. I planned on anchoring the top down like you would a regular tent. I am also going to add some more snaps to the skirt where the soft top overlaps the trailer to try to keep the sand out. any other tips?

Dave and I pulled starting position #19 for the big race. You can check our progress on getting the buggy back together here:

Here are a few shots of the work going into converting my desert race Rhino to a rock crawler for the UTV KOH race on Thursday. New winch and front bumper, new light bar and a lot of general prep.

Cell service is also pretty spotty ;)

I hope to be there this year. I've got about 8 rigs that I've tuned, so I figure I should be there for support if nothing else. Or at least that's a good reason to write off the trip on my taxes :D
