I am not sure if this is even relevant for RME, since there is a classifieds sections on here. But I sell a descent amount of stuff the KSL Classifieds (I think it hits a broader audience) and lately every post I have put on the "Rock Crawler" portion gets moved to some General Car Parts section of the classifieds.

Maybe this is simply a venting that I needed to get out but every single part I have needed to sell was crawler specific (Bead locks wheels, off-road sway bar) the list goes on and on. They are definitely not general car parts for the masses. They have motorcycle specific part sections, they have ATV part sections, they have snowmobile part sections... you get the idea.

I already wrote a "comment" to KSL and received an email back saying it will be reviewed (doubt it). I don't want to ask people to do the same and write a "comment" but I know a lot of us use KSL to sell crawler parts just as I do. I guess I thought that

I am just frustrated and I guess I am using this a forum to vent. Whatever...

I'm just letting him know in case he wants to read the responses it generated, I'm betting his answer was in that thread wherever it is.

Good luck getting any response, when I had an issue with KSL their response is a form letter email and it took 6 emails and a phone call before I could get anything but form letters. The classifieds does reach a larger audience, but not necessarily a better one. The people on here are much better to deal with, and so are the forum moderators. So using KSL is kinda a use at risk kinda thing.

Yeah, I agree that KSL sucks but I seem to sell my stuff a lot faster if it is on there. Well, not so much anymore since they move everything. It seems to be a good sales prevention technique they use now a days.

Whatever, I will now resort to selling my stuff on Pirate and getting every dumbass know-it-all redneck to comment on my item. Which is honestly worse than KSL.

Good luck, I'm curious to find out why it's being moved. It's funny that they have the time to weed out every rock crawler part, but not every stupid scam selling a $15,000 truck for $3300.

I used to search the "rock crawling" section on KSL every time I needed parts, and i used to be able to find them. Odd that they're relegated it to vehicles only. Sorry for my previous post, I didn't mean to get the thread off topic or be rude. I wish I could find that old thread; it had some good info in it.

Exactly my thoughts. I also find it funny that they actually pay someone to sit there and sort through every ad.

No worries on the earlier comment. Didn't hurt my feelings and I am glad that the money I pay Skippy to be my body guard is going to good use.

i sent a comment to KSL about my ads being deleted from the crawler section. i posted them in both the crawler and general automotive sections.. i also suggested creating a rock crawler parts section, i didnt even get a response.

stupid KSL.

I could take a WAG and say it's because you are selling car parts, rock crawler specific or not, and the rock crawler section is not for parts, it's for ... rock crawlers!!! Again, this is just a WAG but it seems logical in my mind :D

FWIW, I put very little weight on KSL now. We interviewed their Senior Admin a couple weeks back and after that, I'm surprised KSL even runs and serves content :eek:

i had this happen about three months ago i had about 10 on going ads in the crawler section that had been up for years and then they were deleted, i reposted them deleted right away. So i posted them up in each of there respective categories in the auto section and now i get alot more response from them so go figure
