What grips does everyone like. I have always liked the 1/3 to 1/2 waffle grips that usually come stock on bikes. I tried the Pro-Taper pillow grips this time and I think that helped on my blistered hands. I have never had an issue with blisters in the past, even if racing. Two things have changed, grips and gloves. I always wear thin gloves and so I am kinda leaning towards the grips.

I really like to ODI EMIG V2 lock-on grips. I've also used the half-waffle odd lock-on grips and don't mind them either.

I just do pillow tops. Never ever get blisters. 100 miles of nasty last weekend. No blisters. But I also don't sit behind a screen like most you pansies. ;)

I used to run the pillow too but just switched to the Odi pick on half waffle. There are more factors than the type of grips that contribute to blisters. Suspension is probably a bigger factor than grip style.

What....I can't have lazy boy feeling suspension and not expect blisters. Stillwell did my junk and for me it's nice and plush for this fat old man. I have had plenty of 100+ mile hard rides in a day, not as hard as the race but still plenty hard and have not blistered. The pillow tops are going away. I have a custom throttle tube that I love the initial steep ramp angle of the lobe. On the Emig I would have to use theirs and I love how smooth my bike runs.

I'm a keyboard jockey, I run stock suspension and pillow tops with no blisters. :cody:

I try to squeeze the grip so hard that there is a molecular bond that happens between my hand, the glove and the grip. This prevent blisters.

On an unrelated topic: does anyone have any suggestions on supplements to help prevent arm pump?

All you need to add to this post is that your pre ride diet is beer and pizza and you are golden. On your unrelated question, arm pump is almost all bout relaxing. If you ride with a soft grip, you will have less arm pump. The harder you squeeze, the more muscle fatigue you are going to feel. Along those same lines, if you are fighting the bike set up, you are not going to be riding relaxed. Next in line would be vibration. As expensive as they are, Flexx Bars helped me with arm pump on my 2 stroke since they help dampen a lot of the vibrations you get on a 2 stroke.

But all humor is based in reality. I do have a hard time not squeezeing the grips to much. I haven't figured out how to charge and stay lose. It's one or the other.

My rear axle has stripped, and cannot be used. The axle threaded out of the left side chain tentioner instead of the bolt on the right side. It has damaged the threads completely.
Edge doesn't have one. Won't be able to order one in in time for me.
Is there another dealer that might have one? Anybody have one to sell?
