KTM riders with kick stand I have a question for you

Ok, if you ride a KTM and if it has a kick stand, can you do me a favor? Could you post some pictures of the rubber holder that holds the kickstand up while riding?

I have an idea to add that to my bike when I get my kick stand as an added measure to keep the kick stand secure while riding.

I am trying to see how the rubber holder mounts to the frame to see if I can adapt it to work on my yz.

Thanks.

Crappy picture, sorry. You can kinda see how it attaches though. The rubber is shaped like a T and is pushed through a hole in the plastic, that's it, pretty simple. I usually forget to hook the kickstand in it and haven't had a problem yet. It's a nice feature though, good peace of mind

Ha, the last race I attended, at the starting line...for some strange reason I noticed every other bike was a KTM, and none of them had there kickstands fastened in the loop. I dont run a kickstand cause I dont trust that it will stay up when I jump. Im usually riding pretty much nonstop until I get back to the truck.

Not that I am much of a hardcore rider, but that is exactly the reason I want to see if I can adapt the KTM holder to my yz. Again, just added sense of security.

I don't think it's necessary. I've used the loop about 2% of the time, that's about as often as I remember about it. Most decent kickstands flip up on their own anyways, so even if it came down a little while riding, it would never be enough to cause any problem. In fact I had a buddy that had the trailtech kickstand on his bike, the spring that holds it up ended up coming off and all that happened is the stand fell and bounced around a bit until I caught him and told him about it. No big deal.
