Not sure about that, although that would suck. In the video it said they started moving equipment and rerouting utilities something like ten days ago in anticipation of this.

My brother said there were around 10 haul trucks and a large bucket digger in the bottom when it went. He said they lost one of their CVE trucks to it also.

I hope so, if they didn't then it's their own dumb fault. They knew this was coming and were expecting it today or tomorrow. According to the news last night, the ground shifted 8" yesterday alone.

Lol, according to my brother, who works out there, it shifted one inch yesterday. He called me last night and said he may have to work late today because the visitor center shifted an inch yesterday.
They knew it was going to slide, they just didn't know the magnitude

What the news said is a normal shift is 1/20" per day, the last couple days it has been shifting 1-2" per day and yesterday it shifted 8" so they knew it would happen any day. They did say they didn't know the magnitude as well. Since the news never lies or exaggerates, I'll believe them

In the pics looking north, you can barely make out a spot of yellow on the floor of the mine. Thats a pile of at least 9 haul trucks. Ill post a pic tomorrow from my work computer.
