Last Chance Bountiful Peak Planning Thread

I'd like to get an organized ride going to go up to Bountiful Peak before it gets too cold and closed for the season.

Who is interested?

The proposed route would:
Start at :the "B"
up Old Ward Canyon
Buckland Ridge Trail
Skyline Drive
Left at the top
Then turn up Bountiful Peak

Next Saturday October 27th is the proposed date.

I think I drove around that area in my 4Runner last weekend, but I dont own ATV's, otherwise I'd be down to go drive with you guys

Sorry the photos are a bit blurry. It was extraordinarily windy up there. Easily 50+ mph with gusts above that.

We hauled the mail up Old Ward Canyon and straight up Buckland ridge to Skyline Drive*
then we turned up to Bountiful peak*
and then rode the super rocky ridge line over to Gold Ridge and then rode down,
*by the time we got to Farmington lake it was nearly completely dark.
from the T down we rode side by side in the dark with only the light from Jon's CRF450x to guide us.
we got down to the parking lot at 7:17pm and it was completely dark!
Home by 7:50pm and unloaded before the huge rainstorm hit!




really really fun and really rocky. Apparently Jon hit his crank case on a rock because he had a steady stream of oil into his truck bed after he loaded up!
