After being stored in my garage for a few months I finally installed my rock lights. They are the led rope light style that TG sells although I ordered them on Ebay from Hong Kong for much cheaper. Steve gave me the idea after giving me a few 10" strips for helping him with his Toyota. Sizes and locations are as fallows: 47" under rock sliders, 10" front wheel wells, 28" under the front bumber and under the bed. I will put a couple more in the rear wheel wells when I get back from Moab this weekend. I also put 68 smled H3 bulbs in my Hella 700FF's. They are not super bright but I think they are as bright as the stock bulbs and use a fraction of the power.

The goal of this lighting project was to have good lighting and draw as little power as possible because I am still running the stock alternator that came with my 22RE.

very cool, I've been wondering how those would turn out. I still haven't installed mine... Are you happy with the end result?

I ran them on the same switch and relay as my Hella offroad lights. I am happy with the end result. I am sure there are brighter lights out there but for under $30 shipped you cant go wrong.
