Lengthening Seat belt in 96XJ

I currently have a 96 XJ and the seat belt is really short. I had 01XJ a few years back and the seatbelt in that was way longer! When wheeling now i dont even have enough froward movement in the seat belt to lean out the window and watch what im crawling over. In my 01 i had more than enough room,so is there any way to lengthen a seatbelt is their a limiter in them you can remove or anything. I mean in my current jeep there is hardly even enough room to lean forward to reach anything im pretty much strapped to the seat

aLREADY THOUGHT OF IT BUT MY CURRENT JEEP HAS A TAN/CREAM COLOR INTERIOR AND THE BELTS ARE THE SAME COLOR AND I CANT FIND ANY NEWER XJ'S WITH THAT SAME COLOR

hmmm are the older ones like out or an 80's era longer?

Put the shoulder belt behind your back and only use the lap part, that's what I always do. I hate shoulder belts for that reason and only run a lap belt in my CJ.
