here is from start to finish of my first crawler.. I do have plans to build a new one with time. this time I will be using an i force v8 and dana 60's and keep it full body with same colors..

I had crushed a few pannels and stopped caring!

Here is 3 evolution pics. I had the Scout before the first pic but that was before digital cameras so I dont have anything on the puter. One of these days I will scan a photo. Pretty much the same as the first pic except blue.
It was a manual, 345, D44s and 36" TSL. Lockrite in the front and welded rear.

Then came an auto trans, dana 60 and 14 bolt and a 4 link front, and 38 Boggers

Then came 39s, then 42s


Then it got torn down. Got a 460, c6, Black Box, new cage and shortened. It then went on 44s. Thats when I went to Top Truck Challenge

Then it got 2 steering Rockwells and 47s which is where it is today. Oh ya, 4 link rear.

There is a million other details but thats the big stuff

Im thinking of painting it blue to go back to her roots

Stock as can be

3 months later it had 8" of lift, 35's Baja Claws, Detroits front and rear, and regeared to 4.56.

Then I moved to Utah and it all started over again. All new lift( still at 8"), 4 linked rear with 14" coilovers, 3/4 ton Ford axles with Detroits, regeared to 5.13, 36" IROKs, and alloys added. Some other things here and there were added.

The day i bought it sometime Aug 2006

Just pulled out of the garage after sas swap and motor rebuild

Then came 5 speed tranny, dual cases, 5:29 gears and lockers

took the bed off and made a really ghetto "flat-bed" strange enough this was probably the "prime" of my truck I loved it like that.

Then i cut the ass off and added a back half and 4 link and air shocks

Now....

Stock... then 9" and 37's... Then Rocks and 46's

Day of acquisition....

Hig pinion 44, 3.54 gears , Sterling 10.25 rear 4.10 gears.. No front driveshaft

6 months later, leveling kit in the front, 37's, ditched the E40D for nice reliable NP435, 79 Kingpin 60 4.10 front, Front driveshaft

Budget lift days lasted about 6 months,


It's been more or less the same 3 to 3.5" since, only new character.
