It's that time of year again! The leaves are starting to change color, so lets see your pictures from trips to the mountains! Where'd you go and how were the colors? Any recommendations on the best places to go for real good Fall Colors?

We'll be in UT for NPLD this weekend, leaving in a few hours. We actually drove from Delta to Carbondale, then to Aspen and Leadville to Minturn last weekend. It was a neat drive, took some pics but the colors weren't in full bloom.

I have wanted to do the loop by Timpanogos (spelled wrong, ain't it?) Peak, but haven't made it.

Did see great colors a couple weeks ago, but that was around Nome.

The most intense fall experience I've ever had was in Cape Breton Nova Scotia...

I know it's a little off from the running theme here, but I had the opportunity to visit the cape three times in October; once in 2004, then in 2006 aqnd 2007.
Last year I took the time to drive the famed Cabot Trail, and I plan to return next year for vacation in october... it just wasn't in the financial and timing cards this year.

These are a few of the pics I took last year... it was absolutely intenese... the combination of the ocean, both on the quet side,a dn the rough side of the peninsula, and the evergreens, and such a variety of colors... I jsut can't get over it. It was pretty cloudy for most of the day, so these pics don't do true justice to the intensity of the colors.
